# How to disable an exam after setup

Disabling an exam means you don;t want the students to write the exam because of a particular reason.

Here is a step guide on how to go about it.

Click on view on the exam group.

Click on the **view** to select the class

Click on the **more button** on the particular subject you want to disable.

You can **untoggle** the enable to disable the exam.
