Sections are very important when it comes to adding questions. So for example, Mrs Anita is an English teacher and she wants to add a comprehensive question to her exam question but she doesn't know how to go about it..
This is where question sections comes in, All Mrs Anita need to do is create a question section called Comprehension and then on the instruction input, Mrs Anita should enter the comprehension passage on it.
What this means once you are adding a question and you select the section automatically the students can see the comprehension passage when answering the questions on the exam page. Note: Question section has different use cases, so feel free to use the section for your own purpose.
Once you get to your question bank and have selected a class and subject you wish to add question for, Click on the question section segment
Click on the sections Tab.
Once you have clicked on then section, you will see some recently created sections you have created before or an empty input where you have to create question section.
On the Enter Section Name input: This is where you enter the section title E.g Comprehension While on the instructions is where you enter the passage or anything you want the students to see whenever they are answering the questions.
Note that it saves automatically, but ensure you get a status of saved whenever you create a section
The image below shows you the status
